Replace old window tint with better film

There are a few things to consider when you want to replace your old film. If your film peels off on it’s own or bubbled, it will most likely be hard to remove. Account at least 1 hour and up to 8 hours for tint removal. Depending on the quality of the film previously installed, it can come off in one piece or tiny bits. This can change the total of your bill when you get tint replaced. Not many shops will include tint removal if your tint looks really bad and some will not even mess with it.

It is also a common known issue that rear defroster lines could be damaged in the removal process. It does not always happen but you should be aware of it. You also want to find a shop you can trust, because removing tint requires scraping the glass with blades which can end badly if someone doesn’t know what they are doing.

Instead of replacing your film with another cheaply manufactured option, do your research. We tested many tint’s and constantly evolve to always provide the best quality films with the newest technologies. We used to work with Huper Optik films a long time ago, when they offered the best Ceramic Film in the industry. Unfortunately, their product did not involve but the industry did. Now we work with Prestige Film Technologies.

It might be above your budget, but window tint is an investment and if you get the right film, it will last well beyond your ownership of the vehicle. But the point is, when you drive, you want to be comfortable. In Houston, a high heat rejecting film can make all the difference.

If you are interested in getting your interior protected and cool, come by our studio to see how our films perform in person. There is nothing more convincing than actually experiencing the action!
