Tesla inspection · Houston
Tesla Pre-Warranty Expiration Inspection.
A 96-point pre-warranty expiry inspection of your Tesla before the factory warranty runs out, so problems can be fixed by Tesla under warranty while you are still covered.

Why before it ends
Find it while Tesla still pays for it.
Creaking suspension parts, slow water leaks, A/C faults and sticky door handles often build up slowly and are easy to miss. Once your warranty ends, those repairs are on you. You must report a problem to Tesla before the warranty ends for it to be covered.

The inspection is not a guarantee of warranty coverage. Tesla decides what it covers, and problems must be reported to Tesla within your warranty period. The inspection is visual and functional, with no disassembly.
Questions
Common questions.
When should I book the inspection?
A few months before your basic warranty ends at 4 years or 50,000 miles (whichever comes first), so there is time to get a Tesla service appointment. If your car is close to 8 years, book before the battery and drive unit warranty ends.
Does EVS do the warranty repairs?
No. Warranty repairs are done by Tesla or a Tesla-authorized facility, and Tesla decides what it covers. We find and document the problems so you can report them to Tesla in time. Items that aren’t covered, we can fix here.
What does Tesla’s warranty not cover?
Tires (they have their own maker’s warranty), brake pads and rotors, wiper blades, filters, alignment and balancing, damage from accidents, curbs, potholes or flooding, noises with no failed part, and non-genuine parts. We still note these, because odd tire wear can point to a covered suspension part.
Is a warranty expiry inspection the same thing?
Yes. A warranty expiry inspection, a pre-warranty inspection and our Tesla Pre-Warranty Expiration Inspection are the same check: a full inspection before your factory warranty runs out, so problems can be reported to Tesla while you’re still covered.
Can the inspection affect my warranty?
No. It is a visual and functional inspection with a road test. We don’t take anything apart, and we never open the battery or drive units.
How much does it cost?
$350, the same for every Tesla model. Send the booking form on this page, pick it on our quote page, or call 888-878-2213.
